Russia to prepare suggestions for Rossiya Airlines sale by Oct 10

SOCHI, Oct 3 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Transport Ministry will prepare proposals to sale national flag carrier Aeroflot’s 75% minus one share stake in Rossiya Airlines by October 10, Minister Maxim Sokolov told reporters on October 1 during an international investment forum.

“I think that the deadline for that is set for October 10 in accordance with the government ruling,” Sokolov said.

On September 22, business daily Vedomosti reported citing three government officials that Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich ordered the Transport Ministry to prepare suggestions for the sale. Later in the day, an Aeroflot representative told PRIME that the issue is not on the company’s agenda.
